Terms & conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Ricerca Supercars website and service (“Ricerca”, “we”, “us”). By posting your details, responding to a listing, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. What Ricerca is
Ricerca is an introducer. We operate a reverse marketplace where buyers publish the details of the supercars they want and members of the motor trade respond. We are not a party to any sale, we do not own or hold any vehicle, and we do not act as agent for either party. Any transaction is concluded directly between buyer and seller.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding contract. Dealer responses are intended for bona fide members of the motor trade. We may decline or remove any account, listing or response at our discretion.
3. Posting your details
- You confirm the details you provide are accurate and that you are genuinely seeking to acquire the vehicle described.
- We may edit your details for clarity, or decline to publish it, before it goes live.
- Your personal identity is not published; only the vehicle brief is shown to the trade.
4. Responding to a listing
Dealers responding warrant that they have, or can genuinely source, the vehicle described and have the right to sell it. You are responsible for the accuracy of any vehicle you offer and for complying with all applicable law, including consumer and distance-selling rules where they apply.
5. No warranty on introductions
We take reasonable care but do not verify every buyer or dealer, and we give no warranty as to the condition, provenance, title or value of any vehicle, or the identity, solvency or conduct of any party. You must carry out your own due diligence before entering any transaction.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from a transaction introduced through Ricerca, from reliance on any listing or response, or from any interruption to the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Intellectual property
The Ricerca name, branding and site content belong to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
This is a working draft for a demonstration build and should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before the site goes live.
